Bharat Freight Group (BFG) is an umbrella brand under which more than 25 multi-modal service-providing companies operate. BFG  has been well established within the Field of shipping and logistics since for the past 3 decades.

 

Our ambition is to capitalize on idle capacities, distressed assets, untapped areas, and other potential opportunities by "Creating Corridors". Our receptive approach of being open to ideas, suggestions, needs, and solutions for holistic problem solving has made us a key player in the industry.

 

What started as a single company providing Custom House Agency in the late 1960s, today has grown to cover all the aspects of supply logistics and beyond. This growth has been driven by the vision and leadership of Mr. Sohel Kazani who was joined by Mr. Zunaid Pradhan, the duo together, backed by the talent within the group, expanded the group activities by entering all aspects of  supply chain management, sea, and surface logistics, port management, international trade, biofuels among others. The activities grew exponentially and so as our ever-spreading network. Initially started with 2 and is now at 650+ employees, partners,  and associates, speaks about our reputation for itself.

•Terminal Management:

Our main vertical is Port & Rail Terminal Management with operations in the Republic of India, Islamic Republic of Iran, Union of Myanmar (Sittwe Port), and State of Kuwait that includes equipment operation & maintenance, manpower and spares supply. We are also expanding the scope by including shipyard management and dredging in the same portfolio.

 

•Supply Chain Management:

In complimenting the port and rail terminal management services, we facilitate entire supply chain management which includes Clearing and Forwarding procedures across India as well as has expertise in International Freight Forwarding (IFF),  Non-Vessel Owning Common Carrier (NVOCC), chartering and agency operation on the shipping side and domestic movements, C&F and warehousing on the logistics side. Our Multi-modal cargo transportation involves coastal shipping, rail freight, and road as well as air movements. Our passenger transport comprises Water Taxis, Ferries, and RO-RO vessels.

 

•Allied activities:

This vertical comprises a no. of companies solely focus on manufacturing, trading, warehousing and distribution of cement  and various building materials. To facilitate the demands, and growth we have also propounded towards retail ventures into biofuel, technology, travel, and food industry, as well as cinema.
